Join a league for fun, casual golfing
Many people love to golf. They like being outdoors, spending time with friends, and trying to shoot their best round ever. But how can they find the time? Too often, the golf season whizzes by, and avid golfers don’t get out on the golf course nearly enough! A sure way to golf consistently from spring to fall is to join a Pine Acres golf league. League members enjoy the camaraderie, friendly competition, and consistency that a weekly league provides. Pine Acres golf leagues are handicapped-based, fun, social, and low-pressure.
Flexible Tee Times
Pine Acres hosts handicapped-based golf leagues on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Typical tee times range from 3:30 to 7 p.m., and flexible scheduling allows golfers to play when it’s most convenient. Leagues begin in early May and end in early September. Call the Pine Acres clubhouse for details, and follow the Pine Acres Facebook page for announcements.
Tuesday Men’s Golf League
The Tuesday Men’s Golf League at Pine Acres is open to male golfers of all abilities. Golfers have fun playing with friends in a competitive environment. League play allows golfers to get to know other players, improve their skills, learn more about the game, and play often.
Wednesday Women’s Golf League
The Wednesday Women’s Golf League at Pine Acres attracts golfers of all ages, from 20 to 90 years old. The women’s league begins in the spring with a potluck kick-off dinner and ends in the fall with an awards and wrap-up dinner. Women can register as individuals or teams.
Thursday Co-Ed Golf League
The Thursday Co-Ed Golf League is the most popular league at Pine Acres. Golfers enjoy a date night while getting some exercise, improving their golf game, and spending time with friends. The co-ed scramble creates a fun, low-pressure afternoon or night of golf.
Golf with Friends Every Week
Leagues form in the spring, but substitute opportunities are available throughout the golf season. Contact the clubhouse for more information and registration. By playing on a league, golfers have the satisfaction of enjoying one of their favorite hobbies with friends every week.
